Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans or “Part C” are a type of medicare health plan offered by a private insurance company and act as an alternative to Original Medicare. The insurance companies contract with Medicare and must provide all your Part A and Part B benefits and cover all the services that Original Medicare covers. Some of the Medicare Advantage plans also offer prescription drug coverage, along with dental and vision benefits.

There are 3 types of advantage plans:

  • HMO

    • Network Only Coverage

    • Low or $0 Premium

    • Potential Out of Pocket $4000 +

  • PPO

    • In / Out of Network Coverage

    • Low or $0 Premium

    • Potential Out of Pocket $4000 +

  • MSA (Medical Savings Account)

    • No Network

    • Low or $0 Premium

    • Potential Out of Pocket $4000 +

    • Includes Annual Deposit into a Medical Savings Account
